Trends and Issues: Healthcare Pay Practices

3C recently conducted two surveys of special pay practices offered to RNs and LPNs working for healthcare facilities located in the Pittsburgh and Chicago areas. Findings from both surveys suggest that the nursing shortage continues to influence pay levels and special pay program offerings, as the goal to remain competitive in the relevant labor market is both a top priority and an ongoing challenge.
