Dawn Cumpston

Dawn Cumpston has over 15 years of compensation program design and management experience in both consulting and corporate environments. She has worked with clients with as few as 25 employees to as many as 30,000+ across virtually all industries and has significant expertise in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and not-for-profit organizations. Having a broad industry base of experience enables her to incorporate best practices into program design, development, implementation and administration activities for each client engagement.

Dawn was a Principal and Compensation Practice Leader with Buck Consultants in Pittsburgh for over six years and was also a compensation consultant with Mercer for an equal number of years. In addition, Dawn was the vice president of compensation for Integra Financial Corporation, a $14 billion holding company and she held various positions in benefits administration with Mellon Bank.

Dawn holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and computer science from Point Park College and has also completed additional graduate courses in economics. Dawn is a Certified Compensation Professional, a designated Professional in Human Resources, and a member of World at Work. She is also a frequent public speaker on compensation-related issues and ideas.
