Design specifics include a strong emphasis on market oriented pay programs, creative and integrated delivery of total reward programs, ease-of-understanding, and highly implementable solutions. Brian has provided compensation consulting services to a wide range of companies from start-ups to the Fortune 500 with special emphasis in manufacturing, high-technology, retail, financial services, professional services and large conglomerates. Brian started Buck Consultants' compensation practice in Chicago in 1993 and prior to that time was a compensation consultant with Coopers & Lybrand for 7 years. He also has prior experience in banking and financial services. Brian has served as a Board member of the Chicago Compensation Associations and is currently on the advisory board of DePaul University's Masters of Human Resources Program. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, CFO Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Detroit Free Press and other business publications. He is also an adjunct faculty member in DePaul University's Management Department. Brian holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in business with a concentration in finance from the University of Illinois.
